Digitalisation: a quarter of employees say their work has changed in the past 12 months

Neuchâtel, 10.12.2019 - More than 9 out of 10 persons use the internet in Switzerland. Almost the whole population aged under 55 and over half of older people aged 75 or more surf the web. Digitalisation also has an impact at work, since almost a quarter of economically active persons state that the nature of their work has changed in the past 12 months with the introduction of a new digital tool. These are the main results from the latest Federal Statistical Office (FSO) survey on ICT usage in households and by individuals.
