Burnout: Becoming More Common among Farmers
Ettenhausen, 10.10.2017 - Burnout can also affect farmers, but no previous empirical studies of its impact on the profession have been available to date. Agroscope and the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) have now addressed this topic. Certain factors such as a tense financial situation and conflicts arising from the close interweaving of work and family have proven to be relevant. Among other things, good social skills can serve as a protective factor.
