Statistics on tourist accommodation in November 2015 – Number of overnight stays remained stable in November
Neuchâtel, 15.01.2016 - (FSO) - The Swiss hotel industry registered 1.9 million overnight stays in November 2015, which corresponds to a stable result (+1700 overnight stays / +0.1%) compared with November 2014. Foreign visitors generated 998,000 overnight stays, i.e. an increase of 0.7% (+7300 overnight stays). Domestic visitors recorded 871,000 overnight stays, representing a decrease of 0.6% (-5600 overnight stays). These are provisional results from the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
