Swiss Consumer Price Index in December 2015 – Average annualised inflation rate of -1.1% in 2015

Neuchâtel, 08.01.2016 - (FSO) - The Swiss Consumer Price Index (CPI) fell by 0.4% in December 2015 compared with the previous month, reaching 97.3 points (December 2010=100). Compared with the same month in the previous year, the inflation rate was -1.3% compared with annualised rates of -1.4% in November 2015 and -0.3% in December 2014. The average annualised inflation rate in 2015 was -1.1%. These are the findings of the Federal Statistical Office (FSO).
